中华书局版《说文解字》修订浅识

A Preliminary Research on the Revision of Shuo Wen Jie Zi(《说文解字》)Published by Zhonghua Book Company

中华书局版《说文解字》训释里有大量俗字、奇字、错字,甚至一些图画性古文符号。同一篆书及其部件,在训释中的楷书则字形各异,存在诸多一篆多楷的现象;加上大量异体字和一些非文字符号,这给新时代典籍数字化,及使用电子阅读和检索带来困难。因此,及时对《说文解字》进行校订,在前贤研究的基础上,废除异体字,统一使用正字,校正错字,使训释文字和字头规范化、标准化,并对错误进行校订,是传承典籍,充分利用《说文解字》的急迫任务。

Shuo Wen Jie Zi(《说文解字》)published by Zhonghua Book Company contains a large number of common characters,odd characters,wrong characters,and even some pictorial ancent symbols in the part of lexical interpretations.The same seal character and its components have different varia tions in the interpretation of the regular script,thus existing the si tuation of one seal character corresponding with many regular scripts.Meanwhile,with a large number of variant characters and some non-literal symbols,this creates difficulties in digitizing new-age canonical books,as well as in their use for electronic reading and retrieval.Therefore,a timely revision of Shuo Wen Jie Zi,on the basis of the research of the former sages,abolishing the variant characters,unifying the use of orthographic characters,correcting the wrong characters,standardising the interpretation of characters and prefixes,and proofreading the errors are urgent tasks for the inheritance of classics and the full use of Shuo Wen Jie Zi.
