The“new form of human advancement”brought forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping is creative transformation and innovative development of fine traditional Chinese culture,a fruit of continuously adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times,an achievement of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics,and transcendence of the traditional civilizations on the basis of independence.It embodies the organic unity of succession and development.The new form of human advancement created in the process of Chinese modernization takes“people-centered”as its core value,the CPC’s leadership as its essential characteristic,and“material civilization,political civilization,social civilization and ecological civilization”as its core contents,exhibiting the organic unity of party spirit and people orientation.By stressing the harmony between human and nature,the common prosperity for all and the path of peaceful development,it has expanded the path to modernization for developing countries,thus exhibiting the organic unity of sticking to one’s own characteristics and learning from others.To create a new form of human advancement,we must make efforts to build a human community with a shared future,promote high-quality development,and deepen exchanges and mutual learning with other civilizations.
