论艺术传播史的书写:一种通向一般艺术史的视域

The Writing of the History of Art Communication:A Perspective towards the General History of Art

艺术传播史的书写包含了两层义涵:一是在“艺术传播”观念下,以“传播”“交流”“流传”等相近概念的视域建构艺术史,二是在传播学学科方法的基础上建构艺术史。只有后者才具有学科交叉(或跨学科)的属性。艺术传播史区别于其他艺术史书写的特征主要在于对关系、关联、介质的揭示,并且注重过程性和生成性。在这种动态连接的书写特质中,艺术传播史逐渐通向了一般的、整体的艺术史。在著述实践中,社会文化史、跨媒介史和技术史的方法构成了艺术传播史通向一般艺术史的实现路径。艺术传播史的书写在体例、文献材料和叙事方法上迎来了新的转向,使一般的、整体的“艺术”在这种史学转向中显现。

The writing of the history of art communication contains two layers of meaning:one is under the concept of communication,to construct the history of art in the perspective of circulation,dissemination,spread and other similar concepts,and the other is to construct the history of art on the basis of the metho-dology of communication as discipline.Only the latter has interdisciplinary(or cross disciplinary)attri-butes.The distinguishing feature of art communication history from other art history is mainly the revelation of relationships,associations,and media,and the emphasis on process and generation.In this dynamically connected writing characteristic,the history of art communication gradually leads to a general and holistic art history.In the practice of writing,the methods of social and cultural history,intermedia history,and technological history constitute the realization path of art communication history to general art history.The writing of the history of art communication has ushered in a new turn in terms of format,documentary materials,and narrative methods,making the general and overall“art”evident in this historical turn.
