The future career development outcomes of local public-funded teacher education students are significantly influenced by initial factors that shape their career decisions.Through an analysis of professional effort planning,career persistence planning,professional development expectations,and leadership position aspirations among 511 local public-funded teacher education students in Shandong Province,distinct career tendencies were identified:positive advancement,positive dedication,and passive survival.Factors such as"teaching motivation,""professional awareness,"and"satisfaction with career choice"play a critical role in determining these tendencies,with notable differences observed.Tailored guidance and training programs can effectively enhance the future career development of local public-funded teacher education students based on their specific career inclinations.
