This paper aims to study the comprehensive traffic management strategies for small and medium-sized cities under modern transportation concepts,in order to build a more intelligent,green,safe,and efficient transportation system.By summarizing modern transportation concepts,including sustainable transportation development,intelligent transportation systems,and prioritizing public transportation,theoretical support is provided for the comprehensive management of transportation in small and medium-sized cities.By conducting in-depth analysis of the traffic problems faced by small and medium-sized cities,including congestion and traffic flow issues,traffic safety hazards,and air quality and environmental issues,a foundation is laid for the subsequent proposed governance strategies.This paper proposes a series of comprehensive traffic management strategies,covering multiple aspects such as the construction of intelligent traffic management systems,the development of green travel,strengthening traffic safety management,and improving public transportation.
