Jia Pingwa is a famous contemporary writer in China,and his works have received widespread attention due to their unique artistic style and rich cultural connotations.However,the rich dialect vocabulary in Jia Pingwa’s works poses a challenge for translation.Therefore,it has become the focus of attention for translators both domestically and internationally to better understand and accept these dialects while maintaining the charm of the original work.Dialects in Jia Pingwa’s literary works have distinct characteristics with prominent being of living,visualization,regionalization,individuation and nationalization,as well as varied grammar.In terms of translation strategies,different translation theories and methods should be comprehensively applied to achieve the goal of good reception effect and strong understanding of communication culture.
