A Study of Nanjing Mazu Temple in the Ming Dynasty

明代南京琳宫梵宇林立,主祀妈祖的庙宇亦存其中。本文梳理明代南京妈祖庙相关文献记载,具体研究明代南京城及其畿县内妈祖庙的建立时间、地理位置、规格属性以及相关事件。通过清明代南京妈祖信仰的空间发展,来探讨妈祖信仰的地域性传播。在列出的十一座明代南京妈祖庙中,龙江天妃宫占有统率地位,其作为规格宏大、地位尊崇的御赐官庙,在南京妈祖信仰发展史上具有重大意义。对明代南京妈祖庙进行研究,有助于推动南京地方文化与妈祖文化的进一步发展。

In the Ming Dynasty,there were many Buddhist temples in Nanjing,and the temples dedicated to Mazu also existed in them.This paper combs the relevant literature records of Nanjing Mazu Temple in the Ming Dynasty,and specifically studies the establishment time,geographical location,specification attributes and related events of the Mazu Temple in Nanjing City and its surrounding counties in the Ming Dynasty.Through the spatial development of Mazu belief in Nanjing in the Qing and Ming Dynasties,this paper discusses the regional spread of Mazu belief.Among the eleven Nanjing Mazu temples listed in the Ming Dynasty,the Longjiang Tianhou Palace occupies a commanding position.As a grand and respected imperial palace,it is of great significance in the history of the development of Nanjing Mazu belief.The study of Nanjing Mazu Temple in the Ming Dynasty will help promote the further development of Nanjing local culture and Mazu culture.
