新中国成立后,我们党在处理政党关系、巩固发展人民民主专政、正确处理人民内部矛盾、持续推进宗教中国化进程、铸牢中华民族共同体意识等领域开展了具体而生动的统战实践。过渡时期的人民民主统一战线政策随社会主要矛盾变化而变化,围绕中心、服务大局,自觉服从服务于国民经济恢复发展、人民民主专政巩固发展、党在过渡时期的总路线的贯彻执行等中心任务,助力实现新中国从新民主主义社会向社会主义社会过渡,为社会主义革命和建设事业作出了不可磨灭的贡献。这一时期党的统战工作之所以能够取得巨大成就,正是因为坚持了党对统战工作的领导,坚定人民至上立场,并在坚持一致性和多样性相统一原则的基础上不断加强统战工作队伍建设,充分发挥统战工作凝聚人心汇聚力量的重要作用。

After the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,our Party has carried out concrete and vivid united front practices in areas such as handling political party relations,consolidating and developing the people’s democratic dictatorship,correctly handling contradictions among the people,continuously promoting the process of developing religions in the Chinese context and strengthening the sense of the Chinese nation as one untied community.The policy of the people’s democratic united front during the transitional period changed with the main contradictions in society,revolved around the center to serve the overall situation and consciously obeyed the central tasks of serving the recovery and development of the national economy,the consolidation and development of the people’s democratic dictatorship,and the implementation of the Party’s overall line during the transitional period,helping to achieve the transition of New China from a new democratic society to a socialist society,which made indelible contributions to the socialist revolution and construction cause.The reason why our Party’s united front work achieved great success during this period is precisely because we adhered to the party’s leadership over united front work,firmly upheld the position of putting the people first,and continuously strengthened the construction of the united front work team on the basis of adhering to the principle of unity and diversity,fully playing the important role of united front work in uniting people and gathering strength.
