Dementia literacy among the elderly:a literature review

痴呆作为一种老年常见慢性病,不仅严重影响老年人晚年生活质量,还加重社会经济负担。关注痴呆素养有助于延缓老年人痴呆发病和改善痴呆不良结局,逐渐成为当下研究的重点和热点之一。文章对老年人痴呆素养的概念、评估工具、研究现状及影响因素4个方面进行综述,提出进一步重视老年人痴呆素养、积极研制本土化老年人痴呆素养评估工具、多元化分析老年人痴呆素养影响因素,为开展老年人痴呆素养相关研究、构建有效干预方案提供参考。

As a common chronic disease in the elderly,dementia not only seriously affected the quality of life of the elderly,but also increased the socioeconomic burden.Focusing on dementia literacy could help delay the onset of dementia and improve the adverse outcomes of dementia in older adults,and it had gradually become one of the focuses and hotspots of current research.The article reviewed the concept of dementia literacy,assessment tools,current research status and influencing factors.It proposed to pay more attention to dementia literacy,actively developed localized assessment tools for dementia literacy,and diversified the influencing factors of dementia literacy,to provide references for the development of dementia literacy related research and the construction of effective intervention programs.
