中国人常说“有朋自远方来,不亦乐乎”。不久前,我结束在纽芬兰与拉布拉多省甘德的参访在甘德国际机场候机时,看到机场展厅讲述甘德在“9·11”事件后接待国际旅客的介绍,我又想起这句话。此访甘德,我认识了当地许多朋友。同他们交流,我了解到甘德独特的历史、发达的航空业、服务业和零售业,更加感受到当地民众的友善以及中加地方合作的蓬勃机遇。
As a popular Chinese saying goes,"What a joy to have friends coming from afar!"Not long ago,after concluding my visit to Gander of Newfoundland and Labrador,I came across an exhibition at the Gander International Airport that recounted Gander's reception of international travelers after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.And the saying above popped into my head.
