Mazu culture, originated from Meizhou Island of Fujian Province through the Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties, has been continuously developed under the dual drive of folk worship and official praise. In this process, the spread of Mazu culture in Japan fully relies on the ancient"Maritime Silk Road"of China, and crosses the oceans through multiple routes. As the intangible cultural heritage of mankind,Mazu culture's spread in Japan not only highlights the vitality and historical influence of Chinese culture, but also reflects the connectivity and relevance between Chinese and Japanese cultures, making an indelible contribution to the cultural exchange and mutual learning between ancient China and Japan. The spread of Mazu culture in Japan under the background of the ancient"Maritime Silk Road"has far-reaching era value and practical significance for the cultural exchanges between China and Japan and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind under the framework of the"21st Century Maritime Silk Road"in the new era.
