The Educational Significance of Mazu Culture in the Growth of Adolescents:A Case Study of the Mazu Rite of Passage at the Yibanxiang Mazu Culture Exhibition Hall

本研究对一瓣香妈祖文化展览馆的妈祖成人礼的礼仪流程与传统士冠礼进行对比,分析妈祖成人礼的现代意义,讲述当代青少年传承妈祖文化的新模式。指出一瓣香的妈祖成人礼对青少年成年阶段塑造的意义,开辟了让仪式参与者感受妈祖文化的教育途径,得出当代青年通过结合传统的礼乐与妈祖元素去传承与发展妈祖文化的可能性。

This study compares the ritual process of the Mazu Rite of Passage at the Yibanxiang Mazu Culture Exhibition Hall with traditional rites of passage and analyzes the modern significance of the Mazu Rite of Passage.It explores a new model for contemporary adolescents to inherit Mazu culture.The study highlights the significance of the Mazu Rite of Passage at Yibanxiang in shaping the values and beliefs of young adults and provides an educational pathway for participants to experience Mazu culture.It suggests that contemporary youth can inherit and develop Mazu culture by combining traditional rituals and music with elements of Mazu.
