This article mainly explores the application of external wall insulation technology in old residential areas of urban renewal projects.By analyzing the current status of energy-saving and insulation for building exterior walls in old residential areas,the significance and importance of external wall insulation technology are explained.This article introduces the specific application methods and effects of various energy-saving and insulation technologies from four aspects:construction methods of building exterior wall insulation,technological processes,easily overlooked issues during construction,as well as common problems and measures in insulation construction.Finally,this paper summarizes the development trends and future directions of external wall insulation technology in old residential areas in urban renewal projects.
