宗族网络对农村居民创业表现的双重影响——促进与限制因素的解析

Dual Impact of Clan Networks on Rural Residents'Entrepreneurial Performance——Analysis of both Promoting and Limiting Factors

通过构建纳入宗族网络因素的创业决策模型,将宗族网络对农村居民创业表现的影响分解为人力资本效应、融资效应和技术创新效应,并实证检验两者间的因果关系及作用机制。研究发现:宗族网络强度通过人力资本效应和融资效应,促进农村居民创业选择和提升其创业绩效;宗族网络规模通过提高人力资本水平,促进农村居民创业选择,同时通过抑制技术创新,降低农村居民创业绩效;正式制度既增强了宗族网络强度的创业促进效应,又减弱了宗族网络规模对创业绩效的负面效应,表明正式制度与宗族文化存在互补效应。

Based on the construction of the entrepreneurial decision model incorporating clan networks,the paper divided the impact of clan network on rural residents'entrepreneurial performance into three types,including human capital effect,financing effect and technological innovation effect,followed by the empirical test of the causal effect and underlying mechanism between the two.The findings indicated that:clan network strength promoted entrepreneurial decisions and increased entrepreneurial performance by enhancing human capital and raising financing amounts.Clan network size could promote entrepreneurial choices by enhancing human capital,while it reduced entrepreneurial performance by inhibiting technological innovation.Furthermore,formal institutions not only amplified the entrepreneurial promotion effect of clan network strength,but also weakened the negative effect of clan network size on entrepreneurial performance,highlighting a complementary relationship between formal institutions and clan culture.
