Maintaining strategic clarity and self-awareness of the Three Musts is a logical necessity for the Communist Party of China(hereinafter referred to as CPC)to successfully navigate the new journey ahead.The Three Musts focus on the construction of a socialist modern country,with synergy,logical complementarity and collaboration among the three.They respectively answer the questions of what political mission the CPC should shoulder,what political qualities it should maintain,and what political capabilities it should possess on the new journey ahead from the fundamental requirements,important guarantees and core driving forces.As an important guideline for addressing the unique challenges facing a century-old party,the Three Musts embody the unity of Party spirit and people's interests,worldview and methodology,inheritance and innovation,as well as regularity and initiative.The Three Musts not only open up a new realm for Marxist party theory,but also raise new requirements for shaping an orderly pattern of positive interaction between the Party's self-revolution and great social revolution.They also contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions to the global effort to overcome the crisis of post-modern political party governance.
