摘要
本研究在积极心理学视域下,基于复杂动态系统理论,使用问卷调查法对250名中国非英语专业大学生进行为期四个月的追踪,以考察其外语愉悦和学习投入的历时发展和动态交互。首先,增长混合模型识别出学习者外语愉悦呈现两种发展态势,分别为低外语愉悦-下降趋势和高外语愉悦-增长趋势;学习投入亦呈现两种发展态势,分别为高学习投入-下降趋势和低学习投入-增长趋势。其次,平行过程增长混合模型结果表明外语愉悦和学习投入动态交互、协同发展。本研究有助于推动二语学习情绪和投入研究的动态转向,加深外语教育研究者与教师对外语愉悦和学习投入的认识,为实施相应的教学干预提供启示。
Drawing on positive psychology and the complex dynamic systems theory,the questionnairebased study examined the development and interaction of foreign language enjoyment and engagement among 250 Chinese non-English major students over four months.Growth mixture modeling identified two distinct trajectories for foreign language enjoyment:a downward trend for individuals with initial low enjoyment and an upward trend for those starting with high enjoyment.In parallel,engagement exhibited two patterns:high engagement with a decreasing trend and low engagement with an increasing trend.Further analysis using parallel process growth mixture modeling revealed a dynamic and synergistic interaction between enjoyment and engagement.The study helps to promote a dynamic turn in L2 learning emotion and engagement research.Our findings also contribute to a deeper understanding of foreign language enjoyment and engagement for foreign language education researchers and practitioners,offering implications for pedagogical nterventions.
