基于电视新闻外宣的特点,探讨电视新闻外宣翻译中存在的误译问题及其影响。借助省级电视台国际频道英文审校语料,通过案例集锦与分析,将翻译问题与审校意见归纳为表述选词类、语法时态类、查证确认类、逻辑习惯类、规范统一类、建议意见类、译者素质类等,剖析了对外宣传与国际传播中需要特别关注的要点。审校实践表明,翻译与审校的质量对确保对外宣传的效果与国际形象至关重要。译者可以结合AIGC及网络资源进行译文综合处理,以应对易误译因素,从而提高外传播的效果与质量。

This study explores the mistranslation issues and their impacts in the translation of international television news,based on their characteristics.Drawing on the long-term English proofreading practices of a provincial international channel,and through a collection of case studies and detailed analysis,mistranslation issues and their proofreading suggestions are categorized into the following subcategories:word choice,grammar and tense,verification and confirmation,logical consistency,standardization,recommendations,and suggestions for translator qualifications.These case studies provide in-depth insights into the key points that require special attention in international communication through the channel of television news,as well as the challenges therein.The proofreading practices demonstrate that the quality of translation and proofreading is crucial in ensuring the effectiveness and international image of international communication.Additionally,translators can utilize AIGC and online resources for comprehensive translation processing to address potential translation errors and enhance the effectiveness and quality of international communication.
