摘要
1934年于上海创刊的《人间世》小品文半月刊在推动1930年代中国现代传记发展过程中曾发挥重要的作用。通过“今人志”“人物”等系列栏目设计,刊发名家自述性文字,采用图文并茂的形式,《人间世》呼应了当时渐成声势的“传记热”,在“他传”、自传书写和保存传记性资料方面做出了重要贡献。呈现《人间世》与1930年代中国传记发展之间的关系,可以丰富、深化我们对现代传记历史的认知。
Founded in Shanghai in 1934,The Human World,a fournightly magazine about the essay played an important role in promoting the development of modern Chinese biography in the 1930s.Through the design of series columns such as“Current People’s Annals”and“Figures”,as well as the publication of self explanatory texts by famous scholars and the use of illustrations and text,it echoed the gradually growing“biography fever”at that time,making important contributions to biography written by others,autobiography writing and the preservation of biographical materials.Presenting the relationship between The Human World and the development of Chinese biography in the 1930s can enrich and deepen our cognition of modern biographical history.
