城市数字经济对制造业企业全要素生产率的影响研究

Impact of Urban Digital Economy on Total Factor Productivity of Manufacturing Enterprises

基于2010—2020年283个地级市数字经济发展水平和2 145个A股制造业上市企业的数据,检验城市数字经济对制造业企业全要素生产率的影响及作用效果。结果表明,总体上,城市数字经济能够显著提升制造业企业全要素生产率。机制研究表明,城市数字经济通过促进制造业企业技术创新和缓解融资约束,进而促进企业全要素生产率的提升。异质分析发现,城市数字经济对东部地区、大规模城市和非国有性质的制造业企业全要素生产率的促进效果更为显著。研究结论为数字经济发展战略的制定和企业战略的实施提供了参考依据。

Based on the data of 283 prefecture-level cities’digital economy from 2010 to 2020 and 2145 A-share manufacturing listed companies,the effect of the urban digital economy on total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises is examined.The results show that:(1)Overall,the urban digital economy can significantly improve total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises;(2)The mechanism research shows that the urban digital economy promotes technological innovation of manufacturing enterprises and alleviates financing constraints,thereby improving total factor productivity;(3)The heterogeneity analysis finds that the urban digital economy has more significant promotion effects on total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises in the eastern region and large-scale cities,and also of non-state-owned manufacturing enterprises.The research conclusions provide reference for formulating digital economic development strategies and implementing enterprise strategies.
