近代新疆蚕丝业发展概况及其特点——以和田地区的蚕丝业为例

Study on the Development Overview and Characteristics of Modern Xinjiang’s Silk Industry——Taking the Silk Industry in Hotan Prefecture as an Example

新疆,这片古代被称为“西域”的地方,是古丝绸之路的重要枢纽,也是东西方文明交汇的十字路口,而和田地区出产的“艾特莱斯绸”曾享有相当高的知名度。文章通过对近代新疆蚕丝业发展情况的考察可知,和田地区在政府扶持下引进内地蚕丝技术和技工,以及对本地蚕农进行技能培训,是新疆蚕丝业获得发展的关键。提高蚕农的专业技能并使其成为一种技能再生产的社会群组,对新疆蚕丝业的稳定发展至为重要。

Known as the“Western Regions”in ancient times,Xinjiang is an important hub of the ancient Silk Road and a crossroads of the intersection of Eastern and Western civilizations.The“Atlas silk”produced in Hotan area once enjoyed a good reputation.Through examining the developing status of modern Xinjiang’s silk industry,it can be concluded that the key to its development is the introduction of mainland silk technology and skilled workers under government support,as well as skill training for local sericulture farmers.It’s thus clear that enhancing the professional skills of sericulture farmers and making them a force for skill reproduction is crucial to the sound development of the industry.
