Immersive news is based on advanced technologies which greatly enhance the sense of news immersion and interactivity and provide a high-fidelity virtual experience of news scenarios.This paper discusses immersive news,a new form of news communication in the digital age,from the perspectives of concept,technical implementation and application exploration.It analyzes the limitations of traditional news communication modes and how emerging technologies promote the emergence of immersive news communication.The paper focuses on the key technologies for achieving immersive news and illustrates the specific application means of various technologies.
