修辞素养是语言能力的一个重要方面,是现代社会复合型人才的必备素养。当前非英语专业大学生英语修辞意识普遍相对较弱,修辞能力明显不足。为了契合新时代的人才需求目标,大学英语教学应关注修辞理论和实践的融入,助力学生提高修辞意识和修辞能力,从而提升学生的英语修辞素养。

Rhetorical competence is an important aspect of language competence and an essential quality for compound talents in modern society.At present,most non-English major college students possess relatively weak English rhetorical awareness and obviously insufficient English rhetorical proficiency.In order to meet the requirements of talents in the new era,college English teachers should lay emphasis on integrating English rhetorical theories and practice in class,facilitating the improvement of non-English majors'English rhe-torical awareness and proficiency,and thus the students'rhetorical competence should be potentially enhanced.
