摘要
针对中医、蒙医专业本科生开设的医学英语课程内容并不是主要以传授中医、蒙医专业知识为己任,而应以英语语言为媒介传播中医、蒙医理论,传播传统医学文化及华夏文明为目标。因此,针对中医、蒙医专业学生的大学英语课程如完全套用目前盛行于大学英语课程的ESP或者EGP的教学模式是不合理的。准确把握“因材施教”的具体途径应当通过明确符合中蒙医专业学生实际需求的教学目标,完善医学英语课程教学设计,践行实操性更强的课程模式,改革具体课程内容及考核方式,从而促使教学质量的进一步提升。
The purpose of medical English course is not mainly to teach the professional knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)and Mongolian medicine,but to spread the theories of TCM and Mongolian medicine through the medium of English language,and to spread the traditional medical culture and Chinese civilization.Therefore,it is unreasonable to apply ESP or EGP teaching models which are prevailing in college English courses for students majoring in TCM and Mongolian medicine.To accurately grasp the specific way of"teaching students according to their aptitude",teachers should improve the teaching design of medical English courses by clarifying the teaching objectives that meet the actual needs of Chinese and Mongolian medicine majors,practice a more practical curriculum model,and reform the specific course content and assessment methods to promote teaching and learning.
