从顺应论角度谈车辆说明书的翻译策略

On the Translation Strategy of Vehicle Specifications Translation from the Perspective of Adaptation Theory

正确、简洁及高质量的技术翻译文档不仅可以传递商品信息,方便沟通,还可以在一定程度上促进买卖双方的贸易往来。因此,研究车辆说明书翻译过程中出现的问题及解决方法具有一定的意义。文章主要运用耶夫·维索尔伦的顺应理论作为理论框架,并借助翻译过程中累积的文稿案例,进行定性分析,旨在展现和研究中英双语文稿之间的翻译和顺应过程。文章根据语言的三特性及四个不同的顺应维度,选取具有代表性的案例阐述翻译对语境、结构及动态之间的语言顺应。

The correct,concise and high-quality technical translation documents can not only express commodity information,and facilitate communication,but also promote the trade between buyers and sellers.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the problems and solutions in the process of vehicle translation.The adaptation theory of Jef Verschueren is adopted as the theoretical framework in this thesis and a qualitative analysis of the manuscript in the translation process has been presented.The aim of this thesis is to study the trans-lation and adaptation process between English and Chinese documents.Based on the three properties of language and four different adapta-tion dimensions,this thesis selects representative cases to illustrate the linguistic adaptation among contexts,structures and dynamics.
