犬疑似发作性睡病的病例报告

Case Report of Suspected Narcolepsy in a Dog

发作性睡病是一种觉醒-睡眠紊乱的神经系统疾病,其具体发病原因和机制尚未明确。1只8岁雄性法国斗牛犬,因出现猝倒和白天过度嗜睡的症状来本院门诊就诊。结合其病史、临床表现、体格检查、实验室检查和影像学检查结果,综合诊断该患犬疑为发作性睡病,经泼尼松龙治疗2周后患犬痊愈。本文对该病例的诊疗思路进行了总结和讨论,以期为此类病例的临床诊疗提供参考。

Narcolepsy is a neurological disorder of wake-sleep disturbance,with specific etiology and mechanisms yet to be fully understood.An 8-year-old male French Bulldog presented to our clinic with symptoms of cataplexy and excessive daytime sleepiness.Based on the medical history,clinical signs,physical examination,laboratory tests,and imaging results,the dog was tentatively diagnosed with narcolepsy.After a two-week treatment with prednisolone,the dog showed complete recovery.This report summarizes and discusses the diagnostic and therapeutic approach in this case,aiming to provide insights for the clinical management of similar cases.
