Forestry is a comprehensive concept,which includes the elements of circular economy,green economy and low-carbon economy.Under the goal of building ecological civilization and promoting sustainable social development,it is necessary to actively and prudently deal with various adverse factors,constantly discover and release the potential of forestry,and yield that forestry ecological,material and cultural products and other aspects of forestry economic products can ensure long-term stable supply.This paper summarizes the significance of applying information technology in forest resource management,and analyzes in detail which information technology is applied in modern forestry at the present stage.The application path of information technology is specifically discussed from five aspects such as forestry monitoring and wildlife protection,and it is found that these technologies can be deeply integrated with various forestry work,which provide strong support for the development trend of modern forestry.
