The great spirit of historical initiative is the spiritual character generated in the course of the struggle of the Communist Party of China for more than one hundred years.The initial mission is the ideological core of the CPC's generation of historical initiative,Marxism is the faith foundation of the CPC's historical initiative,and the Party's century-long struggle is the vivid practice of the CPC's historical initiative spirit.The era connotation of the CPC's historical initiative spirit can be defined as four aspects:the inherent basis of consciously grasping the historical laws,the value connotation of adhering to the people first,the quality connotation of being good at summing up historical experience and the practical connotation of having the courage to take on the mission and important task.In the new era,it is necessary for us to carry forward the scientific spirit of respecting the laws of history while conforming to the historical development,respect the subject spirit of the people in seeking their happiness,carry forward the conscious and active spirit in strengthening the ideological and theoretical armament,and carry forward the spirit of forging ahead bravely in undertaking historical tasks so as to better build the ideological consensus of the people and gather together the mighty force of forging ahead bravely.
