“说实话,我最开始报这个课百分之五十的原因是因为老师叫麦克雷,另外百分之五十是自己对古希腊神话非常感兴趣。从小时候看的动画片(似乎叫《奥林匹斯星传》)到读奥林匹斯神话,再到《波西·杰克逊》系列的书(似乎这套书不是很知名),古希腊神话陪伴了我整个童年,所以我也想在大学的时候更多了解一下这个影响西方文明进程的文化。”

“To be honest,fifty percent of the reason I first enrolled in this class was because the teacher’s name was Michele,and the other fifty percent was because I was very interested in ancient Greek mythology.From the cartoons I watched as a kid(it seems to be called Olympus Guardian)to reading about the Olympian myths to the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series of books(which doesn’t seem to be a very well-known set of books),Ancient Greek mythology accompanied me throughout my childhood,so I also wanted to learn more about this culture that has influenced the course of Western civilization in my time at university.”
