数字经济发展对城乡收入差距缩小的影响:机制与效应

Impact of Development of Digital Economy on Narrowing Urban-rural Income Gap:Mechanism and Effect

缩小城乡收入差距是国家扎实推进共同富裕的重要内容。基于农业增收及非农收入提高视角,采用2011—2022年中国278个地级及以上城市面板数据实证考察数字经济对城乡收入差距影响。研究发现,数字经济发展影响城乡收入差距呈“倒U型”态势,目前中国已跨越“倒U型”拐点,数字经济缩小城乡收入差距红利显现。分区域来看,相对于中西部地区而言,数字经济发展对东部地区城乡收入差距具有显著缩减效应。进一步研究发现,助力农业增收和提高非农收入是数字经济影响城乡收入差距的重要途径;网络基础设施建设与农村普惠金融发展具有调节作用。因此,巩固提升网络基础设施建设、提升数字信息认知和应用能力与纵深推广农村普惠金融技术是数字经济赋能缩小城乡收入差距的重要手段。

Narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas is an important part of China's solid promotion of common prosperity.Based on the perspective of agricultural income increase and non-farm income increase,the impact of digital economy on urban-rural income gap by using panel data from 278 cities at and above the prefecture level in China was empirically examined from 2011-2022.The study found that the development of the digital economy affected the urban-rural income gap in an"inverted U-shaped"trend,and China had crossed the"inverted U-shaped"inflection point,and the dividends of the digital economy narrowing the urban-rural income gap had emerged.From the regional perspective,compared with the central and western regions,the development of the digital economy had a significant effect on the urban-rural income gap in the eastern region.Further research found that increasing agricultural income and non-farm income was an important way for the digital economy to affect the income gap between urban and rural areas,and the construction of network infrastructure had a moderating effect on the development of inclusive finance in rural areas.Therefore,consolidating and improving the construction of digital infrastructure,improving the ability of digital information cognition and application,and in-depth promotion of rural inclusive financial technology were important means for the digital economy to empower and narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas.
