The Chinese Communists,with Mao Zedong as their chief representative,united and led the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country in their arduous exploration of China's path to modernization.Through unremitting efforts,they formed Mao Zedong thought on economic modernization,laying a solid ideo⁃logical foundation for the new era to continue to promote and expand Chinese modernization.Focusing on the important exposition of Chinese modernization of Comrade Xi Jinping,and tracing back Mao Zedong's original conception and practice of China's socialist economic modernization from a new perspective,it is not only con⁃ducive to clarifying the important position of Mao Zedong's economic modernization thought in the develop⁃ment history of China's modernization thought,but also helps us to further understand the internal laws of Chi⁃nese modernization.
