电影《涉过愤怒的海》透过子女、家庭和社会等方面的张力关系,追问“怎样做父亲”的当下议题,借此窥探中国个体化进程的发展与家庭制度的变迁,传达对于传统家庭伦理的思索与社会原子化的隐忧。现代性危机实质是秩序危机,是主体与相关之物的某种实质性断裂。当主体开始自我放逐之时,孤独与疏离成为人们遭遇的集体性精神症候,情感困境亦难以避免。导演曹保平以质疑爱的方式召唤爱,用毁灭爱的方式重申情感价值,试图探讨“爱与自由”将引领原子化的个体走向何方的未来化议题。

The movie Across the Furious Sea explores the current issue of"how to be a father"through the tension between children,family,and society in order to take a glimpse of the development of China's individualization process and the changes in family systems,and convey thoughts on traditional family ethics and concerns about social atomization.The crisis of modernity is essentially a crisis of order,which is a substantial rupture between the subject and its relations.When the subject begins to self exile,loneliness and alienation become collective mental symptoms that people encounter,so emotional difficulties are difficult to avoid.Director Cao Baoping summons love in a way of questioning love and reaffirms emotional value in a way of destroying love,attempting to explore the future direction in which"love and freedom"will lead atomized individuals.
