Historical Process and Contemporary Insights of Ganzi Airport Construction

解放西藏是新民主主义革命的应有之义。为巩固边疆国防,改善当地民生,保障进藏部队的后勤补给,修建甘孜机场被提上日程。修建甘孜机场为新中国修建高原机场奠定了基础,也强化了康藏地区各民族对新中国的认同。通过对这一史实的梳理,以期对当下推进和拓展中国式现代化,落实民航强国战略,进一步铸牢中华民族共同体意识提供当代启示。

The liberation of Tibet was a proper part of the new democratic revolution.In order to consolidate the defense of the frontier,improve the livelihood of the local people and ensure the logistic supply of the troops into Tibet,the construction of Ganzi Airport was put on the agenda.The construction of Ganzi Airport laid the foundation for the construction of highland airports in New China and strengthened the identity with New China of all ethnic groups in the Kham-Tibet region.By combing through this historical fact,it is hoped that it will provide contemporary insights for the promotion and expansion of Chinese-style modernization,the implementation of the strategy of a strong civil aviation nation and the further forging of a sense of community among the Chinese nation.
