This paper aims to explore the application and development of training methods and techniques for winter sports in university sports programs.With the growing popularity of winter sports globally,especially with outstanding performances in the Winter Olympics,their significance in higher education sports programs has been increasing.This article firstly ana-lyzes the importance and current trends of winter sports in university sports programs and then delves into specific training methods and techniques for winter sports.Based on empirical data and case studies,this research discusses effective training strategies and technological innovations,and proposes corresponding teaching models and training systems.Finally,the paper presents prospects for the application of training methods and techniques for winter sports in university sports programs,pro-viding theoretical foundations and practical guidelines for the development of winter sports in higher education.
