This paper discusses the evaluation and development trend of campus football competitionfor primary school students.Football is asport beneficial tochildren's physical and mental health,and school football competition provides children with the opportunity to show their talent.However,there are some problems in reality,such as organizationof competition,coaches'level,parents'support and other challenges.In order to promote the healthy development of campus football competitionfor primary school students,this paper puts forward some strate gies,includingstrengthening the basic education,improving the quality of the competition,cultivating more excellent coaches,advocating parents'active participation and enhancing the level of competition management.Through these efforts,primary school football competitions will be able to better provide children with opportunities for all-round development.
