Research Report on the Construction of Museums along the Great Wall and the Great Wall Culture Communication:The Great Wall Thematic Museums Edition

为厘清长城国家文化公园建设背景下的长城主题博物馆建设及其长城文化传播现状与关键问题,调研团队于2022年7月至2023年12月实地考察了宁夏、陕西、山西等区域长城沿线的134家博物馆。调研发现,截至2023年底建成与未建成的长城主题博物馆共100家,呈现数量显著增长、规模不断扩大、传播主体多元等良好趋势,但存在建设空间分布不均衡、内涵挖掘不足、整体形象展示不全等问题。亟须构建协同传播平台与体系,统一整体形象标识与资源整体命名规范,优化传播理念与模式,加强博物馆社会传播服务能力建设与社会影响力。

In order to clarify the current situation and key issues during the construction of the Great Wall thematic museums and the dissemination of Great Wall culture under the background of the construction of the Great Wall national cultural parks,a research team conducted field trips to 134 museums along the Great Walls in Ningxia,Shaanxi,Shanxi and other regions from July 2022 to December 2023.It has been identified that by the end of 2023,there are 100 Great Wall thematic museums including the ones under construction,showing a prominent increase in quantity,continuous expansion in scale,and diversied communication.However,there are problems such as uneven distribution of construction space,insuficient exploration of connotation,and incomplete overall image display.It is urgent to build a collaborative communication platform and system,standardize the logo and naming of resources,optimize the communication concept and mode,and strengthen the museums social communication capacity building and social influence.
