Meta-synthesis of the experience with mobile health tools among HIV/AIDS patients

目的系统评价和整合HIV/AIDS患者使用移动医疗工具体验的质性研究,了解患者使用过程中的感受、偏好与期待,为改善移动医疗工具使用体验、促进优化和推广提供依据。方法计算机检索并收集在Web of Science、PubMed、theCochraneLibrary、Embase、Scopus、CINAHL、中国知网(CNKI)、中国生物医学文献数据库(SinoMed)、万方、维普数据库关于HIV/AIDS患者使用移动医疗工具体验的质性研究,检索时限为建库至2023年8月。根据澳大利亚JBI循证卫生保健中心的质性研究质量评价标准评价文献质量,应用汇集性整合法对研究结果进行整合。结果共纳入14篇研究,提炼出55个明确的研究结果,将相似的研究结果归纳形成9个新类别,综合成3个整合结果:HIV/AIDS患者使用移动医疗的积极体验;HIV/AIDS患者使用移动医疗面临的挑战与障碍;HIV/AIDS患者在移动医疗使用中的偏好与期待。结论医疗卫生保健人员应持续关注并提升HIV/AIDS患者对移动医疗的体验,未来可从移动医疗工具类型、性能、外观界面设计等方面切入满足患者多样化需求和个性化服务期待、不断增强移动医疗工具普适性和安全性,充分发挥移动医疗在艾滋病疾病管理中的优势和积极作用。

Objective This study aimed to systematically evaluate qualitative studies on the experiences of HIV/AIDS patients using mobile health(mHealth)tools,and to understand their feelings,preferences,and expectations during use,so as to provide a reference for improving the user experience,and encouraging optimized design and wider adoption.Methods A comprehensive search was conducted from database creation to August 2023 across Web of Science,PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Embase,Scopus,CINAHL,CNKI,SinoMed,Wanfang Database,and CQVIP.Studies exploring HIV/AIDS patients'mHealth experiences were included.Using Joanna Briggs Institute's critical appraisal checklist for qualitative research.The integrate findings was assessed using a pooled synthesis method.Results Fourteen studies met our criteria,yielding 55 distinct findings.Grouping similar findings yielded nine categories,which were further synthesized into three integrative themes:positive experiences of mHealth use,challenges and barriers to mHealth,and preferences and expectations for mHealth.Conclusions Healthcare professionals should prioritize both attentive focus and continual improvement of the mHealth experience for HIV/AIDS patients.Increased emphasis should be placed on diversifying tool types,optimizing performance,and refining visual appeal and interface design.mHealth tools can better cater to patients'varied needs and individual service expectations.To fully leverage the advantages and positive contributions of mHealth in HIV/AIDS management,continued efforts are needed to prioritize the universality and safety of these tools.
