With the continuous advancement of national energy construction,±800 kV transmission lines,as an important component of the national energy backbone network,play a crucial role in power transmission.In the operation of transmission lines,conducting live maintenance operations is a necessary means to ensure the safe and stable operation of the transmission lines.However,the safety issues associated with live operations have always been a topic of contemplation and discussion among power industry professionals.Standardizing live maintenance operations and ensuring the safety of personnel's lives and property is an urgent issue to address.This paper provides detailed insights into safety protection measures for live operations,elucidates the role of important protective equipment such as shielding suits and the selection of tools,and offers guiding recommendations for live maintenance operations.
