Liu Daxia was a famous military strategist and politician in the middle period of Ming Dynasty.He had remarkable achievements in pacifying the civil unrest,controlling the Yellow River,and reorganizing the army.His political experience and governing methods of more than 50 years can be seen from the content of his writing and prose.Liu Daxia’s prose creation is analyzed from the three aspects of politics,structure and art.It is found that Liu Daxia’s prose examines his political ideas of governing the country,and is characterized by clear logical sequence and strict argumentation.His concise use of language and the design of forms make his prose unique among literary works in the Ming Dynasty.
