摘要
饶宗颐是少有的一生横跨民俗学两个高峰时段的学者,20世纪三四十年代起持续关注古代少数民族的礼俗学前沿问题;八九十年代以来,在对大量出土文物、甲骨卜辞和简帛文书的系列研究基础上,提出了民俗缘起于礼、礼缘起于神明信仰、神明信仰缘起于自然崇拜等观点,形成了“自然崇拜-神明信仰-礼俗转换”的三维度民俗起源论。
Jao Tsung-I is a rare scholar who had spanned the two peak periods of folkloristics in China.Since the 1930s and 1940s,he had paid continuous attention to the frontier issues of ancient minority etiquette and customs of ancient ethnic minorities.Since the 1980s and 1990s,based on large number of unearthed cultural relics,oracle bones,and silk documents,he had proposed that folk custom originate from ritual,ritual originate from belief in God,and belief in God originate from nature worship.These views finally formed a three-dimensional folk custom origin theory entitled“nature worship-belief in God-etiquette and customs transformation”.
