To Continue to Go Along the Way of Cooperation and Mutual Benefits:Commemorating the 45th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-U.S.Diplomatic Relations

中美建交已45年,事实证明,中美关系是世界上最重要的双边关系。中美之间的三个联合公报是一个整体,完整地体现了一个中国的原则,时至今日仍然是中美关系的政治基础。中美关系与中国的改革开放是相辅相成的。后冷战时期中美关系的底色是全球化,美国对华永久性正常贸易关系立法是中美关系具有实质性意义的突破。中国加入世界贸易组织是中国改革开放的一个里程碑。人文交流是中美关系的重要组成部分。两国关系对于结束东亚地区的冷战、对于南亚局势、对于克服2008年爆发的金融危机都做出了重要贡献。美国提出“印太战略”打压中国是不会得谨的。2023年11月旧金山中美元首峰会对于中美关系的重建具有重要历史意义,全面落实两国元首达成的共识,中美关系就能沿着合作共赢之路继续前行。

It has been forty-five years since the normalization of China-U.S.relations.Historical facts have proven that the relations are the most important bilateral relations in the world.The three joint communiques between the two countries constitute one principle,which embodies the idea of one-China in whole.The principle remains the political foundation of the bilateral relations up to now.China-U.S.relations and China's reform and opening up are mutually promoted.The background color of the bilateral relations after the end of the Cold War is globalization.U.S.legislation on Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China is the most substantial breakthrough in its relations with China.And China's accession to the World Trade Organization is a milestone in China's reform and opening up.People-to-people exchanges are an important component of the bilateral relations.China-U.S.cooperation has also made great contributions to ending the Cold War in East Asia,to stabilizing the situation in South Asia,and to overcoming the financial crisis of 2008.The China-U.S.Summit in San Francisco,November 2023,has important historical significance in rebuilding bilateral relations.To comprehensively implement the consensus reached by the two leaders,China-U.S.relations should continue to go along the way of cooperation and mutual benefits.
