This paper describes the types of concrete cracks,analyzes the harm of concrete cracks to highway bridges,analyzes the causes of concrete cracks in highway bridges from five aspects:load factors,temperature factors,material factors,steel corrosion and construc-tion technology,and puts forward the prevention strategy of concrete cracks in highway bridges from two aspects:design and construction.
