Rise,Development and Mainstream Trends of MOOC-based Degree Programs in the Future

慕课学位是传统的在线学位的升级版。慕课学位项目的发展经历了两个阶段:2013—2017年是慕课学位项目的兴起阶段,2018年到现在是慕课学位项目的发展阶段。慕课学位项目和传统在线学位项目的区别在于:二者向学生提供的方式不同,慕课学位项目的费用更低、培养方案更灵活、可以累积证书,许多课程可以免费学习,申请过程更轻松。与美国相比,目前我国的高校与慕课供应商合作开设的慕课学位项目非常少,这与我国慕课数量和应用规模世界第一的地位有些不相称,为此,我国应大力发展慕课学位项目,努力提高慕课学位项目的质量,加强与国外高校合作,联合举办慕课学位项目,不断提高我国教育的国际影响力。

MOOC-based degrees are an upgraded version of the traditional online degrees.The development of the MOOC-based degree programs has gone through two stages:the period of 20132017 is the rising stage of M00C-based degree programs,and the period from 2018 to the present is the development stage of MO0C-based degree programs.The difference between MO0C-based degree program and the traditional online degree program is that the two programs teach students with different methods,the MOOC-based de-gree program is less expensive,more flexible,certificates can be accumulated,and many courses can be learned for free and the appli-cation process is easier.Compared with the United States,there are currently very few MOOC-based degree programs offered by Chinese universities in cooperation with MOOC suppliers.This is not commensurate with the number of MOOCs in China and the world's first position in the scale of application.Therefore,China should vigorously develop MOOC-based degree programs,strive to improve the quality of MOOC-based degree programs,strengthen cooperation with foreign universities,jointly organize MOOC-based degree pro-grams,and continuously improve the intermational influence of Chinese education.
