谈藏族当代文学翻译的经验和感悟——访藏族当代诗人和翻译家居·格桑

The Experience and Perception of Contemporary Tibetan Literature Translation-Interview with Ju Kelzang,a Contemporary Tibetan Poet and Translator

藏族著名诗人和翻译家居·格桑精通藏族传统文化、兼通中外文化、文学造深厚、才华横溢,尤其在文学创作方面成绩卓著,多年从事汉藏翻译工作,其译作无论是数量还是翻译艺术都为译界所称道。他在大量译介国内外文学名篇的同时,长期致力于政策、法律、法规等政治文献和地名、单位名称的翻译,还参与果洛山水文化的研究和辞书的编纂、翻译和审订等工作,对推动和发展当代汉藏翻译事业发挥了积极作用。他的翻译成就主要表现在文学作品的翻译方面,先后翻译了朱自清《春》、伊丹才让《种》、峻青《海滨仲夏夜》、李白《望庐山瀑布》、舒婷《致橡树》、惠特曼《啊,船长,我的船长》等国内外经典诗歌、散文和童话作品。这些译作从对原文的理解和再现作者创作风格、审美情趣到译文的表达都显得准确、生动、优美,成为当代藏族文学翻译的典范。此次访谈,笔者重点围绕他的诗歌和散文的代表性译作,从译出文本的挑选、翻译动机、翻译标准和原则,译出文本和译入文本之间的风格调整方法、文学创作和翻译的差异,以及藏族当代文学翻译的趋向和前景一一展开。

Ju Kelzang,a renowned Tibetan poet and translator who is proficient in Tibetan traditional culture,has profound cultural and literary achievements.He has achieved brilliant results in literary creation and has been engaged in Chinese-Tibetan translation for many years.His translation works are renowned in both quantity and art.While translating a large number of famous domestic and foreign literary works,he has long been committed to the translation of political documents such as policies,laws,regulations and the names of geographical spot and official institutions in Guoluo Prefecture,as well as the study of Guoluo landscape culture,the compilation,translation,and review of dictionaries,which has played a positive role in promoting and developing the contemporary Chinese-Tibetan translation industry.His literary works are mainly domestic and foreign poetry,prose and fairy tale classics.These translations are accurate,vivid,and beautiful from the understanding of the original text and the reproduction of the author's writing style and aesthetic taste to the expression of the translation,which has become a model of contemporary literary translation.This interview focuses on the representative translations of poetry and prose,from the selection of original works,translation intentions,translation standards,principles,the adjustment and processing methods,literary creation,and translation differences between the unique styles of the original text and the target text,as well as the trend and prospect of contemporary Tibetan literature translation.
