This article explores the stress distribution of lithium dendrites in metal lithium power batteries and their impact on battery cycling stability.The importance of metal lithium batteries and the concept of lithium dendrites were introduced,and the influence of lithium dendrites on the internal stress gradient of batteries and the internal stress of crystals was discussed in detail.The influence of material characteristics and battery design on the stress distribution of lithium dendrites was explored.The impact of lithium dendrites on battery cycling stability was evaluated,including capacity loss,safety risks,battery performance degradation,and a decrease in charging/discharging efficiency.At the same time,the article also proposes technological improvements and challenges,including the development of lithium dendrite suppression technology and the importance of real-time monitoring and safety assessment.
