To effectively prevent and manage the risks of pests and mold in library collections,this article proposes a risk assessment system based on the concept of Integrated Pest Management(IPM),which includes the processes of risk identification and risk rating.This provides a new perspective and approach for the management of harmful organisms in libraries.Through risk assessment,the risk status of collections can be promptly understood,allowing for the rational allocation of limited resources and the development of efficient response plans.The article also provides specific assessment tables to help readers more clearly understand the process and outcome of risk assessment,offering theoretical references and practical guidance for related institutions to solve problems.
