玉米新品种新中玉9号的选育

Breeding of New Corn Variety Xinzhongyu No.9

为适应黔西北高原的毕节市玉米生产需要,提高玉米种植效益,贵州新中一种业股份有限公司2019年利用自选系Gx135为母本,自选系19H-162为父本组配而成玉米杂交种新中玉9号,2023年通过贵州省农作物品种审定委员会审定。该品种全生育期115 d,叶鞘紫色,雄穗一次性分枝8~9个,果穗筒型,籽粒黄色,具有淀粉含量高、籽粒品质优良,高抗小斑病,抗穗腐病、南方锈病、灰斑病等特性,适宜在贵州低热地区及周边相同生态区域种植。

In order to meet the needs of corn production in Bijie City,Northwest Guizhou Plateau,and improve the efficiency of corn planting,Guizhou Xinzhong Seed Industry Co.,Ltd.used self-selected line Gx135 as the maternal parent and self-selected line 19H-162 as the paternal parent to form corn hybrid Xinzhongyu 9 in 2019.It had been approved by Guizhou Provincial Crop Variety Certification Committee in 2023.This variety had a whole growth period of 115 days,purple leaf sheath,8 to 9 male spike branches,tube-shaped fruit spike,yellow grain,high starch content,good grain quality.It had high resistance to small spot,ear rot,southern rust and gray spot.It was suitable for planting in the low-heat area of Guizhou and the surrounding ecological area.
