数字技术发展对区域碳排放的影响效应及其作用机制——以长江经济带为例 被引量:2

The Impact of Digital Technology Development on Regional Carbon Emissions and Its Mechanism:Taking the Yangtze River Economic Belt as an Example

摘要 大力发展数字技术是实现碳达峰、碳中和目标的重要手段,在理论分析数字技术对碳排放作用机制的基础上,从基础设施建设、要素投入与产出、数字化产业发展、数字交易发展四个维度构建数字技术发展评价指标体系,采用2013—2021年长江经济带11个省市面板数据为样本,实证检验发现:(1)数字技术发展会显著抑制碳排放水平,且该结论在进行一系列稳健性检验后仍然成立。(2)采用中介效应模型检验发现,数字技术通过推动产业结构高级化调整和提升能源利用效率来实现碳减排。(3)相较于经济规模较小和教育规模较小的省份而言,经济规模较大和教育规模较大的省份,数字技术发展对碳排放的影响程度更高。(4)数字技术会通过空间虹吸效应负向作用于邻近区域的碳排放。研究结论丰富了数字技术发展与碳排放的相关研究,也为推动高质量发展、实现碳减排提供了思路。 Vigorously developing digital technology is an important means to achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.Based on theoretical analysis of the mechanism of digital technology on carbon emissions,this paper constructs an evaluation index system of digital technology development from four dimensions of infrastructure construction,factor input and output,digital industry development,and digital transaction development,using panel data of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2013 to 2021 as samples.The empirical test finds that:(1)the development of digital technology will significantly inhibit the level of carbon emissions,and this conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.(2)Using the mesomeric effect model,it is found that digital technology can achieve carbon emission reduction by promoting advanced adjustment of industrial structure and improving energy eficiency.(3)Compared with to provinces with smaller economies and education scales,provinces with larger economies and education scales have a higher impact of digital technology development on carbon emissions.(4)Digital technology will negatively affect carbon emissions in adjacent areas through the spatial siphon effect.The conclusion of this article enriches the research on the development of digital technology and carbon emissions,and may also provide ideas for promoting high-quality development and achieving carbon emissions reduction.
