一例犬短头堵塞性气道综合征的诊疗

A Case on Diagnosis and Treatment of Canine Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome

短头堵塞性气道综合征(BOAS)是指短头品种犬以及少数短脸品种猫的结构异常而引起的综合征。笔者通过对一例临床表现为吸气困难、全身发抖的法斗犬进行既往史和生活史的了解,进行听诊、触诊、视诊以及呼吸功能分级系统评估、喉镜、CT等诊断性临床检查,确诊其为犬短头堵塞性气道综合征。通过软腭切除术对因治疗和对症辅助治疗,患犬症状明显改善,治疗后回访无复发。

Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome(BOAS)is a syndrome caused by structural abnor�malities in short-headed breeds of dogs.In a few cases,short-faced breeds of cats were included.In this paper,a case of canine short-headed obstructive airway syndrome was diagnosed by taking the past and life history of a French bulldog with clinical manifestations of inspiratory difficulty and generalized shivering,and diagnostic examinations such as auscultation,palpation,visual examination,and assessment of the respiratory function grading system,laryngoscopy,and CT.The dog's symptoms were significantly improved by the causal treatment of soft palatectomy and symptomatic adjuvant therapy,and there was no recurrence after the treatment.
