摘要 Ubuntu Edited by PAUL NNODIM&AUSTIN OKIGBO Leuven University Press Ubuntu,an African philosophical tradition, embodies the capacity for one human to empathise with another, encapsulating African humanism, communalism, and belonging. The late Archbishop Desmond Tutu foresaw its resonance with the moral sensibilities of black South Africans in the 1990s,making it the foundational ethical framework for navigating a new era of reconciliation and forgiveness post-apartheid,amidst a backdrop of historical racial violence.
