New coordinates:Yantai will jump to become the central city of the Bohai Rim region.The Bohai Rim region is the most economically-developed and resource-concentrated region in northern China.Yantai has become the first prefecture-level city in the northern region whose annual GDP has exceeded one trillion yuan,with its total economic output ranking second only to Tianjin municipality among the 13 prefecture-level and above cities in the Bohai Rim region.
